How can we improve Simkl?

  6. Begin tracking on VRV

    Crunchyroll is expanding to VRV, but shows watching on VRV don't track in CR. Expand tracking to include VRV and it's varied services.

  7. Bugs in Windows app.

    When running it causes strange behaviour in already opened windows. Sometimess you need several tries to switch between opened explorer windows for example. Or when switching from browser window to explorer window the focus changes, but the browser window stays on top for some reason. Or you need to click on explorer icon in taskbar several times to see the explorer window on top of somethimg already opened.

    Most likely you have multiple Microsoft Visual C++ versions installed on your computer and the tracker gets stuck, uninstalling them usually helps. You can find Visual* in: Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features

    Search results sould show exact BEGIN matches first.
    When I search for "the magicians", when I type "the magic" I should see this result before "care bears: unlock the magic". Results should also be sorted by rank and also titles I watch should come befrore everything else.

    There is currently a bug in the search that does not sort relevant results first. We’re looking into it, something to do with collecting search stats incorrectly.

    Searching for “the mag” should display “The magicians” at the top when it’s working correctly.

  10. adding a series to "Plan to Watch" wont trigger notifications for new episodes

    Hello,
    I've added "Picard" (just to name one series that it's airing right now) to my "Plan to watch" list, but i dont receive notifications when a new episode airs.

    Please generate notifications for series in the "Plan to watch" list too (as for series in the watching list).

    New series not showing up on Simkl... it's been listed on TVDb since around May 21, but has yet to come up here.... would love to get that fixed. Thanks in advance.

  15. Being able to manually modify the identification on kodi

    Hello, I use the simkl tracker on kodi so I don't have to do it manually

    However I have several anime (for example initial d, city hunter etc.) which are not right in the identification

    For example for season 2 of initial d given that on simkl it is considered as a second series and not there sequel while on kodi it is considered as the sequel, the tracker cannot find what it corresponds to

    I would therefore like to know if it was possible to add an option to the Kodi tracker to manually select if desired which series…

  18. Option to disable Trailers

    It would be nice if I could modify the settings in general, especially en/disable trailers. I already use Nenhancer and the trailer function there because it plays the trailer without opening a new window
