How can we improve Simkl?

    Request to remove:

    The following episode is no longer present in thetvdb under season
    2021, since it has been moved to the special episodes, which
    corresponds to the truth but is not yet visible on Simkl.

  3. Option to add a movie that is not in the database

    Add on option so when there is a movie that is not in Simkl database we can ask so it is added to the database. It would be good to add a link to IMDb so we can tell which movie is missing

  9. It's not clear whether the show has ended or not

    According to SIMKL show has ended after 1st season, yet there's season 2, TBA on 02-09-2021. IMDB says the show hasn't ended at all.

  11. Alert about character limit for bio - otherwise text will be lost

    Hi

    First of all thanks for Simkl! I love it.

    It looks the current limit for the bio is at 4k. And any extra character ends up being deleted but you only notice it at a later time when you open the page again.

    I'm tagging this one as a bug, but it would be nice if this limit could be increased. So making a small request here too :) But can perfectly understand if this is more trouble than it's worth. (sometimes it's a bit more complicated than changing a number)

  12. Request refresh for poster

    The poster for "De Slimste Mens" seems to have been imported in a corrupt way (it shows grey except for 1/10 on the top). Kindly manually refresh it.

  15. One little stupid thing :)

    "W" or "w" appear in the button of "Plan to Watch". It is strange :)

    In lowercase when you are going to select it and when you have selected it without reloading the page. And in capital letters when you reload the page or access again in a film / series that is already marked as view.

  16. NCIS wrong date

  17. Eliminate chapter 8x23 Blue Bloods (It does not exist)

    Season 8 has 22 chapters. Consequently, the last episode is the 8x22.

  18. Custom search settings allow additional title options

    For the custom search links that a SIMKL user can create for themselves.... Right now, we only have %TITLE% to pull in the title. And that places all the special characters and spaces. For example:

    Star Trek: The Next Generation

    But a few websites don't like the search links in that format. They might not like the special character (in this case, the colon ":"). Or instead of spaces or %20, they prefer the word separators to be "+" or "-" or "/" or "." (those are ones I recall seeing).

    So maybe we could use options to strip the…

    Custom search variables have been updated at https://simkl.com/settings/custom-search/, new possible variables:
    TITLE
    Name of a movie or a show with space character replaced with “+”. Example: “Marvel’s+Agents+of+S.H.I.E.L.D.”.
    TITLE Slug name of a movie or a show, removes special characters, same as in website URL. Example: “marvels-agents-of-shield”.
    SEASON-1 creates season-1 URL.
    EPISODE-1 creates episode-1 URL.

  19. How about a favorite list.

    It would be very great to have a favorite list. Like what's your favorite movies, TV shows and anime for better following.

  20. Remove the 'Waiting for your rating section' in profile

    As I don't rate movies, shows and anime I find it a bit annoying when I visit my profile, I always see that Movies and shows waiting for my rating section.

    Would love to have a option to disable that.
